His presidency emphasized environmental conservation, sustainable development, and strengthening Palau’s international partnerships, establishing him as one of the country’s most influential political leaders.

/Osa Desi6ns FKA Das Graphiks Das Graphiks was established in Palau in 2010. If you knew me then, a lot of my art was based on various things from island life to vectors, controversy, politics, memes. Inspired by my fellow creatives in Palau and abroad. Pioneers like Angko Hans Ongelungel, Angko Dave Ngirailemesang, Angko Linter Dismas, Angko Joseph Ngcheed, Angko Sam Adelbai, Elsei Tellei, Telbakes Yano, Demei Yobech, Iesha Tulop, Maecey Jenkins, Herman Malsol, Nelson Masang Jr, Esebei Doran, and notably Sha Merirei Ongelungel. The artist that introduced me the way, Aunty Ado Imetuker. I was learning dissent as a form of art. This is where I knew I could speak loudest because my voice quivered in rooms that I bowed in, as a child told to only speak when spoken to. I learned that my pens and markers held power I couldn’t always articulate with words, or my hands with brute strength. I couldn’t defend myself against the powers that fed me to be small, but my imagination and innovation led me to better worlds of hope and possibilities. I start a new journey and as I rest the version of me that began it all, this version holds dear everyone that’s come and gone and those still to come. Cheers to you, Das. It’s been great old friend. EDIT: I couldn’t name every artist that inspires my journey. Just know that every artist I’ve come across all these years has shaped every aspect of my growth. My journey is an ode to you all too.
